Fake or not

In a digital era where all the information in the world is just a click away, it is crucial to cultivate responsible citizens with ethical and critical thinking skills, so they can consume information responsibly and, of course, share and spread reliable and meaningful content.

In this project, we were tasked with finding a way to make the pedagogical content accessible to the education system, teachers and instructors in both formal and informal education. Therefore, we chose to create a dynamic website tailored for teenagers, which includes lesson plan guidelines, activities, and tools for integrating critical thinking across various subjects. Civic media literacy is the skill and ability to consume, evaluate, analyze, create, and share media critically in a way that fosters civic engagement within a democratic society.

To promote the website to the relevant target audiences, we were also asked to produce several videos and social media posts.
After October 7, recognizing the urgent need to address civic media literacy, the Israel Democracy Institute, the Israel Internet Association, MOFET Institute, and other experts joined forces to compile materials that would serve as a foundation for integrating this literacy among youth of different age groups.
